hey so im really not using this to much these days but i figured that i would update for the fun of it all.  This summer has been crazy ....*long pause* i dont really even know how to explain the last few months besides saying that who knew how much change could come from just graduating from school! anyhow change results in growth and the Lord has been faithful as always!

Ive got about a month until i leave for sweden! things are going good- presentations,support, etc.. please pray that ill be able to keep my mind and my heart focused on the Lord and not allow satan to distract me or make me doubt what God has planned for me.  Also pray for my visa to come back quickly so that i can still leave in time to recieve a free flight there.  woo hoo im going to sweden!!

just got back from co.  from luke and kelly's wedding which was very nice...good times hangin with some good friends-you guys will be missed very much!

hey check it out im updating!!! anyhow i just passed in the very last requirement for graduation!!! woo hoo and woo hoo!! this week is going by fast as i new it would and im kinda dreading it to be honest because i know it will go to fast for me to enjoy!! but everything is going well so far...ive got my room half packed (which if you know me should be very impressive)!! there is always craziness with the fam and plans for the weekend but hopefully all will come together! after i finished packing last night i took my cap and gown out of the package to hang up and of course i had to try it on....so cool....and sad at the same time! its sad when i good thing comes to an end but at the same time its also a time to celebrate new opportunities and times!!

on that note i met with todd for a few hours on sunday and hooked up some of the details that i had been struggling with about the trip! also the Lord really revealed to me so much more of His will and plans and it was really really encouraging! Im excited to see what he has for me and all of the rest of us!!

If anyone remembers it would be awesome if you would keep my dad in your prayers!! he is not saved but he has been asking so many questions and i know that the Lord is moving in his heart and life! He asked me to talk with him about my faith while im home for easter!!! please please pray for his salvation, also that God will give me the words that he needs to hear!!

a few of us watched the passion tonight and im sometimes hesitant to watch that movie because i dont want it to be something that i memorize and become comfortable with.  But tonight the Lord really allowed me to see His death in a new light.  In the past, while watching the movie i have focused on just his death and suffering because the movie is so forward with it.  But tonight i was able to get passed all of the suffering (not to make light of it) and recognize that the Lord i serve is so much bigger than the world i live in!! He overcame every little/big obstacle that the world has to offer any of us!!  That is something to rejoice over!!   

I hope that everyone has a great easter week/sunday and is able to get away and rejoice that we are here serving a living, powerful God that is more mighty than anything we know!!

So i ve had a pretty good week ...

highlights:

i went to IKEA for the first time and i def spent like 2 1/2 hours there by myself checking everything out! it was pretty neat...

i get to go home this sat for easter and that is exciting!

i spoke with Todd and got some more details about sweden locked down...exciting as well!

Got to catch up with my lil' texas friend raemus!! ...love that girl!!

watched narnia for the first time and loved it!

Im looking forward to april break next week...also some visits from fellow NYers!!

life is good my friends!!
